Maihi-Mahi are pouring through on their migration.

As is the Norm of Mahi fishing in the Miami area in October the fish are coming through in great numbers and very close to shore. The have been feeding right of the reef but the most fish were caught in about 800 to 1000 feet. We have seen most fish under the weedlines. They have been hungry and they have been mostly keepers to big fish. Tey have been eating all the baits especially cigar minnows and pilchards but the more ravenous schools have been hitting the cut bait. The fishing should continue to be hot for the rest of October but we may need a full day charter to find them.http://topgunmiami.com/miami-fishing-photos/1-1.jpg
